What Happens on Your Free First Cleanup

The most common question we get from new customers is not about price. It is “so, what actually happens?” Fair enough. Letting someone into the back yard while you are at work is a trust thing, so here is the whole first visit, start to finish.
Before we come
After you fill out the form on our Get Started page or text us, one of us replies to confirm your address, how many dogs you have, and anything we should know: a gate code, a dog who would rather stay inside, a side yard we might not think to check. We tell you which day we are already in your neighborhood, and we put your first cleanup on that day. There is nothing to sign.
The day before, you get a reminder text. Leave the gate unlocked, or tell us the code, and let us know where the dogs will be. That is all the prep there is.
The morning of
When we are headed your way you get an on-the-way text, usually 15 to 30 minutes out. That is your window to bring the dogs in if you would rather they not supervise. If they are friendly and you are fine with it, they can stay out. We meet a lot of dogs, and most of them decide within a minute that we are boring.
The cleanup itself
The first visit is the big one. Whatever has built up, whether that is a couple of weeks or a couple of months, gets cleared. We walk the whole area your dogs use, not just the open lawn: side yards, flower beds, along the fence, under the patio furniture, around the shed, and the dog run if there is one. Front yards are not part of the standard visit, but say the word and we add it.
Everything goes into a bag, and the bag goes into a lined bin on our truck. Nothing is left in your trash can. Our tools are disinfected between yards, so nothing from another property comes into yours.
If the yard has gotten far ahead of you, we do not charge extra for the first visit. It is free, and it is free on purpose. We would rather you see how we handle a hard yard than take our word for it.
Before we leave
We latch the gate, then we text you a photo of it closed. That photo is the part customers tell us they did not know they wanted. You do not have to wonder if the gate was left open. If we noticed anything you should know about, a loose board, a spot the dogs are digging under the fence, a sprinkler head that is broken, we mention it in the same text.
After
If you liked how it went, you are on the route. We come back on your route day, weekly or every other week, and do the same thing every time. You keep a card on file and it is charged after each completed visit, never ahead. There is no contract. If you are traveling, text us and we skip that week. If you want to stop, text us and we stop.
If you did not like how it went, you still have a clean yard and we part as neighbors. That has happened exactly as often as you would guess.
Ready?
The form on the Get Started page takes about a minute, or text (936) 256-2285. We will get back to you the same day with your route day.
