What it works out to per month

Per-visit pricing is easy to compare but hard to budget, so here is the same table as a monthly figure for one to three dogs. A year has 52 weeks, so weekly service averages 4.33 visits a month.

Monthly cost of pooper scooper service by plan (the lower number is for one dog, the higher for two or three)
PlanPer visitVisits a monthPer month
Weekly$19 to $214.33 visitsabout $82 to $91
Every other week$29 to $322.17 visitsabout $63 to $69
Monthly$44 to $481 visit$44 to $48

For four dogs, weekly is about $108 a month, every other week about $76, and monthly $57. Most customers with more than one dog, or a yard the family uses in the evenings, land on weekly. Most single-dog homes with a sunny yard do fine on every other week outside of summer.

What changes the price

How many dogs

One to three dogs are the same price, because the visit takes about the same time. Four dogs is a step up. Five or more is a quote, because at that point the yard, not the dog count, decides how long we are there.

How often we come

Weekly is the cheapest per visit and the cleanest yard. Every other week costs more per visit because there is twice as much to do. Monthly is a deep clean once a month for lighter-use yards, and it is also how we price a one-time cleanup.

How big the yard is

A standard fenced lot, up to roughly a half acre, is the table price. A half acre and up, which describes a lot of Magnolia, Montgomery, and Willis properties, gets a quote based on how much of the land the dogs actually use. Acreage customers are usually surprised the number is closer to the table than they expected, because dogs use the same spots every day.

Add-ons

Front yard service and the whole-yard sanitizer are the two optional add-ons. Both are small per-visit charges, and both are things you turn on and off by text. A patio deodorizer on request is free.

What is included at every price

  • Full scoop of the yard your dogs use, including side yards, beds, patios, and dog runs
  • Waste bagged and hauled away with us, never left in your bin
  • Closed-gate photo texted after every visit
  • Reminder text before your visit and an on-the-way heads-up
  • No contract, no signup fee, and the first cleanup free
  • If you are not happy with a clean, that clean is on us

Is it worth it compared to doing it yourself?

Doing it yourself costs a bag, a scooper, and somewhere between ten and thirty minutes a week, more in summer, more in a shaded yard, and a lot more if it has been a while. Most customers who call us have done the math on a Saturday morning in July. At $19 to $21 a visit, we are usually cheaper than the pizza you order that night, and the yard is clean before you get home.

The honest case against a service is a single dog, a small sunny yard, and an owner who actually enjoys being out there. If that is you, scoop weekly and get it off the property. Everyone else, we would love to take it off your list.

How much does pooper scooper service cost in Montgomery County?

Our weekly service is $19 per visit for one dog, $21 for two or three dogs, and $25 for four dogs. Every other week is $29 for one dog, $32 for two or three, and $35 for four. Monthly is $44, $48, or $57. One-time cleanups are priced like a monthly visit. Five or more dogs, or a half acre and up, are quoted individually.

Why is weekly cheaper per visit than every other week?

A weekly yard has one week of waste in it and takes a few minutes. An every-other-week yard has two weeks of waste, and a monthly yard has four, so each visit takes longer. The per-visit price follows the work. Weekly is the best value per visit and the cleanest yard.

Is there a signup fee or a contract?

No signup fee, no contract, and the first cleanup is free. A card on file is charged after each completed visit, never ahead. You can skip a week, pause for vacation, or cancel by text.

What does the first free cleanup include?

The full initial cleanup, however much has built up. We would rather you see how we handle a hard yard than take our word for it, so the first visit is on us with nothing to cancel if you decide not to continue.

What costs extra?

Front yard service, if your dogs use it, is a small add-on. The optional whole-yard sanitizer is a small per-application add-on for odor and multi-dog homes. A patio deodorizer on request is free. There are no fuel charges, trip fees, or seasonal surcharges.

How do you price five or more dogs or a big property?

We ask how many dogs you have and roughly how much of the property they use, then send a fair quote, usually the same day. We never quote acreage or five-plus-dog homes blind, because the honest price depends on the yard.
